Terms of Service

Last updated 26 August 2026

Operator note: this document is a starting draft covering what the platform API reviews check for. Have a lawyer review it against your jurisdiction, your entity, and your actual data processors before you take payment or launch publicly.

These terms govern your use of CollabTab. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

Who can use CollabTab

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. One account per person. Each platform channel can back one CollabTab profile — you cannot link the same YouTube channel to two accounts.

CollabTab is for individual content creators. It is not a marketplace for brands, agencies, or freelance services.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

You must not impersonate anyone, link a platform account you do not control, or misrepresent your audience.

Free tier and subscriptions

  • The free tier includes 15 likes for the lifetime of your account — not per day and not per month. Passes are unlimited and always free.
  • This allowance is tied to the platform accounts you link, not to your email address. Deleting your account and signing up again with the same channel does not give you a new allowance. We say this plainly because it surprises people otherwise.
  • A Pro subscription costs $6/month and unlocks unlimited likes and the ability to see who has liked you. It renews monthly until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not give partial refunds for unused time unless the law where you live requires it.
  • If a payment fails, we keep your access while our payment provider retries. If it cannot be recovered, your account returns to the free tier. Your profile, matches and messages are not deleted.

Conduct

You must not use CollabTab to:

  • Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse anyone
  • Post sexual content, or use the service to solicit sexual services
  • Scam, phish, or run investment, crypto, or "buy followers" schemes
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your channel or audience
  • Send unsolicited advertising, or scrape or bulk-collect other users' data
  • Attempt to bypass the free-tier limits, rate limits, or any other technical control
  • Automate swiping, messaging, or account creation

Chat is available only between people who have matched. There is no way to message someone who has not swiped right on you, and subscribing does not change that.

Content you post

You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store and display it for the purpose of operating the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for moderation or where the law requires.

We run uploaded images and text through automated moderation. Content that is flagged is reviewed by a person rather than deleted automatically, but we may remove content or suspend an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless doing so would compromise an investigation or put someone at risk. You can appeal by emailing support.

A suspended account retains access to its own data, including data export and account deletion.

You can delete your account at any time from settings or from the data deletion page.

What we do not promise

CollabTab is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that you will find a collaborator, that anyone will reply, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not vet, endorse, or take responsibility for other users, and we are not party to any agreement you reach with someone you meet here.

Follower counts come from the platforms themselves and are refreshed periodically. They may be out of date, and a platform may report them inaccurately or stop reporting them.

Meet safely. Do the same due diligence you would before any working relationship with someone you met online, and never send money to someone you have not verified.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to CollabTab is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost opportunity.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use CollabTab after that means you accept the new terms.
